Member registration

Bend Ski Club (BSC) registration for the 24/25 ski season is now open.  $40 for a single membership, $70 for a couple's membership.  All 2023-2024 club members will receive a registration reminder.

Note that the BSC uses meetup.com to manage its events.  In addition to joining the Bend Ski Club, to receive email notification of our events and to register for our events, you must join our meetup group.

1. SKIER ABILITY DEFINITIONS

When you register, you must identify your skier ability.  Choose from the four abilities defined here:

Mellow Intermediate. Groomers Only. Mostly blue runs, with a possible green run to warm up. Pace is relaxed and mellow, with stops on the runs to regroup.

Fast Intermediate. Mostly blue runs, with possibly groomed black runs if the conditions are right. Pace is moderately fast, with fewer stops on the runs to regroup.

Advanced Intermediate. More challenging. Blue and black runs. Easier off-piste for powder and easy trees. Relaxed pace, with stops on the runs to regroup.

Advanced. Requires the technical ability to ski anywhere on the mountain at a reasonably fast pace with fewer stops. Usually off-piste for non-groomed experience. Powder, trees, open areas, whatever is good.

2. FILL OUT OUR MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION FORM AND PAY THE MEMBERSHIP DUES

3. JOIN OUR MEETUP GROUP

All on-mountain skiing events and off-mountain social events are posted on the meetup website.  To be notified of and/or register for our events, you must be a member of our meetup group.  

IF YOU WERE A MEMBER OF OUR MEETUP GROUP LAST YEAR (2023-2024), YOUR MEMBERSHIP IN OUR MEETUP GROUP WILL ROLL OVER TO THE 2024-2025 YEAR.  IF NOT...

Then, within the meetup website, find and "request to join" our group... Bend Ski Club (Bend, OR) | Meetup

A Bend Ski Club representative will receive the request, confirm you are a paid member of the Bend Ski Club, then approve your request.  When approved, you will receive an email confirming your membership in our meetup group, after which time you will be notified of (and be able to sign up for) all of our posted events.
